Scott is a company member of Live Arts Theater in Charlottesville, Virginia, and a member of the Live Arts Playwrights Lab. He has served as the facilitator of the Lab for multiple calendar years. Scott has served as producer for “Locally Sourced”: the Playwrights’ Lab’s annual production of original short plays by Lab members.
In addition to being an accomplished stage manager, Scott is a locally-produced playwright. His short plays have been produced in “Locally Sourced” and in Whole Theatre’s “24/7”. His full-length play “Drift Wood” was workshopped and given a public reading in Live Arts’ “New Works on Fire” development workshop. His one-act play “Origin Story” was workshopped and given a public reading through Field Trip Theatre in Washington, D.C.
Scott is currently writing and developing multiple plays and comic book series. He writes about making theatre, comics, and writing on his Substack newsletter, “Born of the Sky”.
He is available as a writer-for-hire for comics, television and film.
